     Environment is the surrounding that we live in. Trees, animals and all of us belong to the environment. The place we are living is the environment. As the environment is very important thing there is a special day named “World Environment Day”, to celebrate it.  In the environment, there are many trees. Trees are very important to our lives. We need oxygen to survive. That is given by trees. And also the food, medicine that are needed to us are given by trees. We need water for our daily activities. We take water from water sources such as rivers, reservoirs, waterfalls, wells etc. If there is no rainfall we cannot find water in those sources. Trees help us with this problem also. Trees can increase the rainfall. When there are many trees, the droughts will not occur. When there are trees, soil erosion can be prevented. As they have strong root systems they can prevent soil erosion. And also trees provide shade for us. We feel very calm and cold when we are sitt...

 pt. V.N Bhatkhande                     pt. V.N Bhatkhande was born on August 13th 1860, He received his early education in Ephinston school in Bombay. After finishing High school, he started to learn Sitar and in few years he mastered it and performed as a Sitar player. He has done tremendous work for the upliftman of classical Music. He organized several conferences to spread and maintain the standard of music. Pandit ji travelled all over the country and made a thorough research on Hindusthani  Classical music and thought this knowledge.  He wrote several books on music. Six volumes of Kramic Pusthak Malika  were the main books published by him. These consists of most of the Rag use in modern days.  ‌ 🪔 ☸️ Vesak is celebrated world wide by many different countries including Thailand , Indonesia , china and sri lanka. The ritual parinirwana celebrates buddha's birth , enlightenment  and the death  for both individuals and the greater Buddhist community. Vesak is the biggest festival of the Buddhism peoples.🙏🌕 ☸️   They are celebrate that festival different ways.   Some Buddhism's are observe atasil. I also observe atasil with my grandma in my village temple on the vesak full moon poya day.🌝   All the people make vesak lanterns and decorate their houses.  Lighting oil lamps along the roads. 🪔🏮    Lot of peoples do charity works on that poya day such as dansal. We can see vesak thorana on that days. It's a one of my favorite thing  because we can know about jathaka katha when we watch that thorana.
